The University of North Dakota’s School of Medicine & Health Sciences has announced the appointment of Dr. Jacob C. Warren as the new director of its Center for Rural Health. Dr. Warren brings with him more than two decades of leadership experience and a robust background in rural health research, positioning him well to lead the center.
Prior to this role, Dr. Warren served as the founding co-executive director of the Rural Health Research Institute at Georgia Southern University. His extensive experience in rural health initiatives and research will be invaluable in addressing the unique challenges faced by rural communities.
As the new director, Dr. Warren aims to enhance the center's mission to improve health outcomes in rural areas through innovative research, education, and community engagement.
