New Orlando Health Children’s Pavilion brings several clinics under one roof

Orlando Health has officially opened a new children's pavilion designed to bring together 19 different pediatric specialty clinics under a single roof. The facility aims to simplify the often chaotic follow-up care that families face after a child is hospitalized.

By consolidating these services, the hospital hopes to reduce the logistical burden on parents who previously had to drive to multiple locations for appointments with different specialists. The new building allows a child to see a cardiologist, a neurologist, and a physical therapist in the same visit, cutting down on travel time and missed work for caregivers.

The pavilion is designed with a patient-centered approach, featuring larger exam rooms and dedicated spaces for families to wait comfortably. Hospital officials say the goal is to create a seamless experience where the focus remains on the child's recovery rather than the hassle of scheduling. The move reflects a growing trend in healthcare to centralize outpatient services, making it easier for families to manage complex medical needs without leaving the campus.
